Had a very interesting & productive meeting at Unit 35 this morning! The outcome being that it appears I'll be embroidering a very special Irish Dance dress commissioned by the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum at Cultra. The dress is to be part of a 'History of Irish Dance' exhibition in 2014 and will be kept by the museum. Very excited but a lot of hard work to do between now & then!! Attached is a photo of some of the work I have previously done on Irish Dance dresses. This logo was embroidered onto polo shirts & softshell jackets for a new customer recently. The final design was very effective & looked really sharp on the black background! These are really nice custom polo shirts for a local golfing society. They are made from a 'cooltex' material which means they're lighter and allow more movement. This does make them slightly more tricky to embroider but we reckon the logo has stitched out really well! |
